BIOGRAPHY

Wendy Schmidt was Wendy Schmidt Bio Picture born and raised in Coquitlam, B.C.

Wendy started painting oils in high-school, then moved on to watercolours which she prefers for its transparency and light.

As a musician playing in a band, she did not have spare time to paint. Now she is back creating pictures with great eagerness and creativity.

I enjoy painting realism with colours. It's a sense of freedom, peace, that I feel in the wildlife and scenery that I paint.

I am inspired by, observing nature and taking pictures. I have a desire to conserve our earth and the wildlife that inhabits it.
